On Tuesday Oct. 15 I held an internal meeting with campaign staff.

On the morning of Wednesday Oct. 16, I attended a meeting with the IBEW union in Saginaw. The meeting was not open to the public. It went exceptionally well, and I was invited to speak to the general membership at their next meeting.
Canvassing was rained out; rescheduled for Oct. 25.

On Thursday Oct. 17 I did party prep for Friday’s Meet & Greet Party. Shopped at our local Costco to support businesses that pay a fair wage. Love the corporate culture here!

On Friday Oct. 18 We held our Meet & Greet Party at the New Haven Amvets Hall!

On Saturday Oct. 19 I attended the Macomb County Democratic Committee O’Hara Celebration Breakfast at the Carpathia Club in Sterling Heights. Local volunteers & organizations were honored, specifically Birdie Nash, Roger Heller, and the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers-Local 2 Michigan.

Following that event, I met with LIT (Lapper Indivisible Team) to share policy/ideas.
I also dropped off food with UAW Local 160 and spoke with leadership. We discussed votes and the timetable for workers, and I asked about further needs.

On Sunday Oct. 20 I canvassed and gathered signatures with Nancy Early at the New Baltimore Farmer’s Market. While there, I spoke with voters and collected signatures. (This event was bumped forward due to a conflict last week).

Here is next week’s schedule (Oct. 21.-Oct. 27):

On Tuesday Oct. 22 I will be meeting with veterans officials; this is a private meeting.

On Wednesday Oct. 23, at 7 pm, I’ll be at the Indivisible Fighting #9 meeting at the First United Methodist Church of Ferndale, MI. This event is open to the public.

On Thursday Oct. 24, I’ll be canvassing and gathering signatures in Almont. I’ll be near four corners, in front of post office. Hope to see you there! (This event has been rescheduled due to weather conditions last week).

On Friday Oct. 25 I’ll be canvassing and gathering signatures in Port Huron with Jodi Sanderson. We’ll be near St. Clair County Library, 210 McMorran Blvd. Port Huron, Michigan 48060. Jodi is the St. Clair County Leader for my campaign.

On Sunday Oct. 27 I’ll be attending the MI 10th Congressional District Membership meeting. This meeting is open to the public and occurs from 2 PM – 5 PM. Location is Countryside Banquet Center, 596 S Cedar St, Imlay City, Michigan 48444.
